From Buenos Aires we took the bus to the amazing Iguazu waterfalls in the very north of Argentina.

From Iguazu, again by bus, we were heading towards Rio. The first two days we took morning runs along the beach together with many fit brazilians. We enjoyed the streets of Rio downtown and danced samba in the night. The next days it rained and rained... and we spent most time looking at different ships for our Galapagos trip. We lost our compact camera (would be nice if we could say it got stolen, but we forgot it in a taxi!!) and therefore we only have pictures of Rio by night or with rain...Rio, we will be back, the next time for the samba carnival.

From Rio we flew to Quito and a few days later to the Galapagos Islands. Lots of wildlife, not at all afraid of humans and great snorkeling with seals and turtles. We were very lucky with the group on our ship. Greetings to Holland, Hawaii and Seattle!
